Down To The Lucky 7

It's so hard each week now to guess who's getting the boot. Everyone is good. To be honest, I've never seen an American Idol Season where everyone in the Top 7 is as good as these contestants

A little surprising is that Kristy Lee Cook is still hanging in there, but you know what? She's actually getting better and better every week. She IS still the featured on The Vote For the Worst Website, so maybe that's what's keeping her alive in the game.

I really can't believe that Michael Johns went home last night, though. That was probably the shocker of the season. He was a very talented young man (not to metion he was easy on the eyes). I guess his time was up, and someone had to go home. It will probably be a shocker every week, ya know?

They're looking better each week and they're getting better each week. This is a STIFF competition, I tell ya.

Good Luck to David Archuleta and Jason Castro (still my favorites to win).
I kinda like David Cook, too. He's pretty cool dude.

Please vote on the side bar for your favroite American Idol. See ya next time.

Let's Get Up To Speed on American Idol Results

It was getting a little hectic trying to keep up with Idol on two to three times a week for you. Especially since I workout on those nights, and am just ready to fall out and watch the show when I get home.

Anyway, I think America is getting this right! So far, the right people have been voted off and th right ones have stayed. That is, with the exception of Kristy Lee Cook. She only stays because she is this years "Vote For The Worst".

So now, We're down to 8 people. Here are my thoughts on this situation:

Favored to win American Idol in my mind.....Hmm it's a toss up between David Archuleta, David Cook, and Michael Johns. These 3 guys are just spectacular. They deliver good every week, and seriiously keep getting better and better. So right now, I can't choose between them.

My big disappointment is Jason Castro. He started out strong. I thought he had what it took to pull it off. But now we are discovering that he's not a talented singer. His range his not impressive and he needs to wash his dirty dreads. I'm sorry , but those things are just nasty. Enough of the folky guitar gigs, Jason.

Sayesha Mercado is a very good singer, but I just don't think she's got it. No "Connection" as Paula would say with the audience or with America. She tried to pull of a Whitney stunt. "D'oh"! My thoughts on that are thisL Whatever you do, don't go on American Idol and tryto pull of Whitney, Mariah, Celine, or Christina unless you are them. You just can't so it. Let them be the legends that they are and you find your own style.

Brooke White - she just needs to watch a Rated "R" movie already. And Quit back talking Simon. Noone wants to hear her lips flapping.

Who's left?

Oh yeah! Kristy Lee Cook - wll, we all know why she's there. She tried to get the redneck note with her version of God Bless the USA. PLEEEASE. Her life on Idol is short lived.

I'm forgetting someone who must be forgettable. (I had to look it up on my own blog). Carly Smithson. She's a good singer. Really. She is. Not sure if America diggs it since she's not really "American". How can someone from Ireland be an American Idol???? Hmmmmmmmm................

Please feel free to leave me your comments and catch ME up to speed. Till next time!

American Idol: The Country Bumpkin Stays One More Week

I know, I can't believe it either. I thought for sure that Kristy Lee Cook would go home tonight. I think she thought the same thing. She even apologized for having to sing that awful song again that she performed on Tueday Night. "Eight Days a Week" in pure twangly country form. BLAH!

I guess it wasn't bad enough to send her home. She slid through this week, and instead, David Hernandez got the boot. Hmm..Maybe it was the stripper and lap dance scandal? You think? If so, that's just wrong. But then again, he wasn't that good of a singer or a performer. He had something weird about him. Like it wasn't natural. He was trying too hard.

I'm so glad the American Idol Results show comes on at 9 p.m. EST. I can go to Dance Trance and not miss it. Yayyyyy See ya next week.

American Idol Results: Top 12 is the Best Ever

With a new set on American Idol (and it looks great!!) we're ready to kick the season off with the best Top 12 Since American Idol started ! This is going to be an awesome season..I just know it. And Simon looks good in his white button up shirt, too!

First to perform Syesha Mercado : "Got To Get you Into My Life"
1-866-IDOLS-01
She did alright - she wasn't my favorite. She was O.K.

Chikezie - "She's A Woman"
1-866-IDOLS-02
Wow! He did a very good job with that song. I was extremely surprised
when he came out with that one. Super!

Ramiel Malubay - " In My Life"
1-866-IDOLS-03
Kinda boring to me. I almost wanted to go lay down and go to sleep.
No talent was displayed. B-O-R-I-N-G. Sorry......
(and the judges agreed with me). She may go home after that one.
Let's keep watching and see what happens. Based on the votes on this blog,
I think people like her, but I dunno...............she needed to do more than that tonight.

Jason Castro - "If I Fell"
1-866-IDOLS-04
He needs to do something different. That was the same old shit as always.

Carly Smithson - " Come Together"
1-866-IDOLS-05
She sings good. She sings that song every night at the bar, so I'd hope that she would do a good job on it. I like her tats! She does kinda look like a Vampire when she smiles. Kinda weird. But anyway. She's got no worries about going home.

David Cook - " Eleanor Rigby"
1-866-IDOLS-06
I dont think I recognize that song. Am I supposed to know this? Would I recognize it if I heard the original artist sing it? Oh yeah...maybe I know it...Yeah, I think I know it now. Judges love this guy. Simon loves him. Maybe I'll grow to love him.

Brooke White " Let It Be"
1-866-IDOLS-07
She's one of my favorites. She's gonna do real good. One of the best performances of the night.

What a FANTASTIC American Idol this year! OMG I am LOVING this!!!
This is TRULY the best group ever! I LOVE THEM ALL.

David Hernandez - " I Saw her Standing There"
1-866-IDOLS-08
Ok Lets see what the stripper has under his belt!! (HA! Punt intended)
I'll go with whatever Simon Says on this one......I'm on the fence.
Simon said - "No, No, No. He thought it was corny verging on desperate".

Amanda Overmeyer - (Please - Don't vote for the worst, which is her)
Singing " Because You Cant Do That"
1-866-IDOLS-09
She seems so totally NOT INTERESTED in competing. She sang this song pretty good, though. I like her attitude. I didn't like the wig. Oh yeah! Her hair kinda matches her pants......kinda zebra-y. Why did she stick her tongue out so far? She's kinda trailer parkish.

Michael Johns - "Across The Universe" 1866-IDOLS-10
My hubby looked at me during the song with the look on his face like "Is he singing that right"? So. We'll see. He didn't let any big notes rip out. It was "sleepy" as Rady said. Paula (of course) loved it. Simon is ready for this guy to uleeash his talent, which he hasn't done yet.

Kristy Lee Cook - " Eight Days a Week" 1-866-IDOLS-11
She sucks. The jeans are hot, and the tank top is hot - but SHE SUCKS.
Maybe it's because I totally hate country music. She ruined a perfectly good song.
It was obnoxious. It was terrible. She is going home.

David Archuletta - " We Can Work It Out" 1-866-IDOLS-12
Woah! I don't know what happened to him this week. It was the wrong song.
He forgot the words. It was his worst performace. Shucks. That's too bad.
I was afraid of that when I heard his song choice.

Well, that's a wrap for this week's performances.
GOING HOME TOMORROW NIGHT - KRISTY LEE COOK

American Idol Results : Season 7 Top 12 Idols Announced

I can't beleive I had to miss American Idol last night.  But I had too, my friends.  I'm on a mission to work out 9 times a week until my jeans fit again, so I had to be true to myself.  It kinda sucks because I missed the girls perform.  I was able to catch the recap as I walked in from my Dance class, and I think the Kady Malloy and Kristy Lee Cook should go, but we'll see.

Let me start off with the Blake Lewis performance.  NOW I know why Blake didn't win against Jordin Sparks.  I don't even really know how he made it to the finale.  He sucks.  He cant sing!  Yes, he can Be-Beop - Beet Box ? whatever you call it... but gheez.

So here we go with the results.

Chopping block:  GUYS first.  8 places and 6 faces, that's what happens tonight.

DAVID COOK - Safe!  And in the top 12
DAVID ARCHULETA - Safe! (Of course) And in the Top 12
JASON CASTRO - Safe!  (Whew!) and in the Top 12 and SO FREAKING ADORABLE

Moving on the girls:

BROOKE WHITE - Safe! And in the Top 12
SYESHA MERCADO - Safe! And in the Top 12
KADY MALLOY - GOING HOME!!!  (Good choice America)

And back to the guys:

DAVID HERNANDEZ - Safe! and in the Top 12 (maybe he'll do a strip show for us)
MICHAEL JOHNS - Safe! And in the Top 12
LUKE MENARD - GOING HOME!!! (Good Choice America)

Only 2 guys left:  The Fag Danny and Chikezie - who will it be in the Top 12
PLEASE, America, please say you kep Chikezie in so I don't have to watch that fag dance around shaking his ass like a girl - ErGH!!

And back to the girls:

RAMIEL MALUBAY - Safe! And is in the Top 12
CARLY SMITHSON - Safe! And in the Top 12
AMANDA OVERMYER - Safe! and in the Top 12 (and THE WORST!!!!)
KRISTY LEE COOK - Safe!! and int he Top 12

ASIA'H EPPERSON - GOING HOME!!!!!! (Woah! That's a shocker to me)

DANNY NORIEGA is GOING HOME!!! (THANK YOU, AMERICA)

Chickezie s safe! and in the Top 12!
HERE IS A SHOT OF THOSE 4 GOING HOME TONIGHT:

And there you have it America.  There are the results from American Idol.

Only Half The Show, But Here It Is

I missed half of the show tonight for my son's Spring Concert (which was awesome, by the way).
So I came in as David Cook was coming on.  That was a pretty good performance by him, I must say.  I liked what he did with the Lionel Richie song.  It was hot.  I like him better this week than I ever have before.

Then, came Jason Castro.  I don't know.  I missed David Archuleta, but I'm gonna say that Jason Castro blew it away with the song he sang.  He is just very nice, and humble. Not to mention he has a beautiful face. He left the guitar behind this week and just showcased his beautiful voice.  I think I'm now torn again between him and David A.

Then I saw the recap.  Luke Meard is a GONER!  He sucks so bad.  he should have left three weeks ago.  And what is UP with David Noriega? OMG that guy is such a flaming flaggot!!!!!  I just don't get it. I really don't.

Ayway - My prediction for who's going home:  Luke Menard and Chikezie.

David Hernandez was a stripper!

As I was trying to wake up this morning, I heard my favorite radio show telling some ground breaking news about one of American Idols contestants, David Hernandez. He happens to be one of the best contestants on the show, but that won't help him get pas the controversy that has surfaced.

The 24-year old finalist from Glendale AZ once worked as a stripper in Dick's Cabaret, appearing fully nude and performing lap dances to the mostly male clientele club.  Resources notes that he made pretty good money there.

Well, we;re not sure if this will affect his career as an American Idol contestant.  Remember when Frenchie was disqualified for being shown on an adult website, but Antonella Barba Survived the wrath after her racy photos surfaced.

I think he's a pretty good singer. I can't wait to see what the judges have to say about this guy tonight.  Think Simon will say something about him sounding a bit "Cabaret?"

American Idol Results: Surprising or Expected?

Ha! I was thinking the same thing that Ryan's mom was thinking about Simon's hand. What the hell is he doing with his hand? Funny.

Jason Yaeger is the first to go home tonight. Yayy!! I'm 1 - 0 on my picks for tonight of who goes home. I guess I know how to pick em. Let's see what happens for the rest of the show. Either way, this guy was a dork And he was fake.

First girl to go home - Alexandrea Lushington - That sucks because I hated Amanda Overmyer.

Second Girl to go : Alaina Whitaker - another surprise . Damn! I thought it would be Kady mallory. I'm off track totally this week. I think America got it wrong.

Three Down, one to go!! Who will be the final guy to head off kicking stones????

And finally, Robbie Carrico is the last guy to go home tonight. He was a fake and a phony, and I think he was Britney Spears boyfriend at one time.

Si-ah-nah-rah Robbie.

And there you have it, the American Idol Results! Until next time.

David Archuleta Sings Imagine by John Lennon

This young man is going to WIN American Idol Season 7. I just know it. I've been watching Idol since Season 1, and have never been such a huge fan of anyone right from jump street as I am for David Archuleta. Thought you might like the video from Tueday Night's Performance of David Archuleta singing "Imagine" by John Lennon.

American Idol Results Show

Well, the show started off a little different than we're used to by calling Garrett right off the bench for a "chat" and ended up sending him kicking stones. He sucked anyway and needed to get the boot.

Then the first girl to go was Amy Davis - her lips was STILL quivering from last night. She had to be the most terrrified girl I've ever seen on the show.

Paula Abdul broke out with a new (and crazy ass video) that was produced by Randy Jackson. WTF!

Next to go home - Joanne Borgella.

Whats up with everbody crying? They should be happy they made it through another week. I guess inside they are.

Anyway - 3 down and 1 to go.

They get Chekeize and Colton on the stage - guess who goes home???
Colton!!

Well, I'm 3 for 4 this season....Not too bad!!!!!

Results of Week 3 of Auditions

Omaha Nebraska started off with a semi-feminine guy who Simon encouraged to be on the red carpet for the finale of American Idol for FoX Channel 42 in Nebraska. Something tells me that he might actually show up !!!! What a fag.

Jason Rich Age 21 From Stout Iowa - he almost screwed it up.
Rachael Wicker - the arm wrestler - I did NOT like her. Why did they let her through?
Chris - the rocker - hell yeah! mu hubby says he's top 10 material.

Leo Marlowe- he was pretty good.

Omaha produced 19 Golden Tickets...What a bumpkin town.

Miami produced a total of 19 golden ticket winners. I think what people really want to know is what "precocious" means. (Which is what Simon Cowell referred to julie dubela as). She is the 16 year old who starred on American Junior.

So here is the definition:

precocious means: unusually advanced or mature in development

Second Week of Auditions

Second Week of American Idol takes us to San Diego California and Charleston South Carolina.

Besides the numerous freak-a-zoids that happen to live in San Diego CA (and Charleston) there were a few good ones that made it to Hollywood. Keep in mind that they pick and choose only a few good ones to show on the audition show. We don't get to see the cream of the crop until later. But anyway, the two that stood out this time:

David - the 16 year old who had vocal paralysis.

Carly Simon - Two years ago she auditioned and the paperwork for her Visa didn't go through in time, so she didn't get to go to Hollywood. Well, she made it this time.

I got a call today from another avid Idol fan who says they heard an insider tip on who was going to win American Idol! It is a girl names Cardin McKinney. We have not yet seen her audition on American Idol, and may not (since we only see a few of the good ones). So I just wanted to give you that bit of insider information.

Ok Back to the Hollywood Tickets;

The Brother and Sister Duo(Jeffrey was his name)
Amy Flynn The 16 Year old Abstinent Teen
London Weinburg who sang Billie Holliday (Good Morning Heartache)

I'll dig up some photos and post them within the next day or two.
Talk to ya next time!!
I'm gonna watch Moment of Truth

First Week of Auditions

The first week of auditions covered two cities, Philadelphia and Dallas Texas. It was the typical American Idol Audition show, wih too many people that can't sing , all there for entertainment purposes of the show. Then there were the few good ones that made it through to Hollywood. A few of my favorites that earned tickets to Hollywood were:

Kristy Lee Cook - the 23 year old Martial Arts/Horse Trainer. She was a pretty good singer, but I'm not a big fan of country music, not much to say about her.

Chris Watson - 20 years old - very original sound. I actually liked this guy. He was good looking, and could sing.

Brooke White - the young lady who had never seen a Rated "R" movie. While I think she's missing out on some really good flicks, she was my favorite of the auditions or this week. She sang Corrne Bailey Rae. Reminds me of Norah Jones.

Then, for some strange reason, this guy they call "Bird Man" came on to the scene singing the stupidest song ever. He dedicated it to Simon Cowell, and the whol gang, including Randy, Paula, and Ryan joined in on the dedication. It was pretty funny.

The weird thing is, I picked up my little girl from school the next day, and she was singing it!! I couldn't believe it! The thing went viral. Here it is:
